Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer are talented singers, songwriters, instrumentalists, educators and record producers. Their relationship with family audiences spans over 25 years of live performances and 20 award winning recordings.

GRAMMY® Awards, Parents' Choice Awards, American Library Association Awards, National Association of Parenting Publications Awards, Early Childhood News Awards and Washington Area Music Association Awards all attest to the superb quality of their body of work.

Sing To Your Baby® was created out of Cathy & Marcy's desire to help families connect through music. In addition to their folk and children's recordings, they were trailblazers in creating video lessons for young children, parents and educators that bring musical skill and fun in to their lives. They frequently present workshops for teachers, educators, librarians, music therapists and parents, empowering them with new skills while joyfully connecting music to all aspects of our lives.

Their talents as music producers and arrangers, along with a knack for creative content has kept them busy with clients such as Handwriting Without Tears®, Work Family Directions, Educators for Social Responsibility, Homespun Tapes, Maupin House Publishing, AT&T, Hooked on Phonics, McGraw-Hill School Publishing, The Learning Channel and Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. Cathy & Marcy produced the music to the audio versions of Margaret Wise Brown's best-selling books, "Goodnight Moon" and "The Runaway Bunny".

Cathy & Marcy met in 1980 at the Toronto Folk Festival. After many a jam session and many a concert together, they started touring and recording together full time in 1984.

Their home base is Maryland and they have performed in the U.S., Japan, Scotland, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa and Canada.

"Cathy & Marcy, two of our most cherished family musicians, have done it again. Communicating with our children is critical to their learning and development. With their usual creativity and style, and consistent with their emphasis on sound principles of early childhood education, they provide parents and caregivers with important information and resources to help them to connect and meaningfully interact with their baby through song.  SING TO YOUR BABY®  will bring joy to both you and your baby."
